Great date night spot. My husband and I were one of two couples there and there was a larger birthday party arriving when we left. Service was attentive. We decided to go with all appetizers because we always enjoy apps better than entrees when we're not sure what we want. It was a good choice because we got to try different things and still went home with a few leftovers.

The food was amazing I had pasta with fried goat cheese. Truly amazing and a great ambiance overall . The service was great too , no complaints at all .

Went here for thirsty Thursday post work on a date to give it a try as I live in the area. Huge beautiful space! Quite fancy and nice decor, luv the small plates or tapas and our server/bartender Luis went above and beyond to make sure we had everything on point. We were the last 2 and closed the place down. I missed the turn and went onto old river rd but all else was GREAT!

Found Bonita by the river w great reviews on Yelp n thought we'd try it. Restaurant is not by the Hudson river n there's no river views. It's in a hotel. Friendly welcoming staff. We had the spicy filet mignon tips And beet salad for appetizers. Both tasted good. And for entrees ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and the bronzino. Generous amount of lobster and tasted good. And the bronzino was good too. Finished it off w chocolate chip lava cake and ice cream. All in all was ok.

Decided to check this place out for Happy Hour since a friend of my lives nearby. Overall, the outdoor area was very nice with flower drop from the ceiling to present a nice atmosphere. Indoor space was very open and big (almost felt like a venue) and the bar area was in the back, which is where we decided to sit. Our bartender was nice and was able to provide drinks in timely manner. We ordered the red and white sangria, which tasted just right and delicious! For food, we ordered their garlic shrimp and empanadas, which also tasted amazing! One thing to note is that the garlic shrimp didn't come with bread, so make sure you order that as well to take advantage of their yummy garlic sauce to dip in :) Upon requesting the check, we were almost charged full price for 2 of our cocktails despite ordering 10min prior to happy hour ending, but other than that, this place was great and would definitely come back for a full meal next time.

This is a new restaurant to the area and the potential is definitely there. The setting is beautiful and the ambiance is wonderful. I will definitely be back. The service can use some work. My friend who placed the reservation received a call at exactly at 7:30, which was the time of our reservation asking where we were. We weren't even really late we were in the parking lot and the restaurant was not crowded. When we were seated we were not given drink and/or tapas menus, only dinner menus. I was with a group of 6 ladies and we ordered a bunch of different tapas to share. Everything was simply delicious. We ordered 2 desserts to share and they were also delicious. Definitely will be coming back for the food. I hope they can work out the service issues in the future. I'd give this spot a 3.5 review but wanted to go to the higher side as they are a new restaurant, and really just need to work out some kinks.
